মিলন হবে কত দিনে ও মিলন হবে কত দিনে... আমার মনের মানুষের সনে।(x2) ।	Milon hobe koto dine O milon hobe koto dine Aamaar moner manusher sone (x2) .	When shall we meet, be whole? O when shall we meet, be whole? To be at one, with my inner soul (x2).
চাতক প্রায় অহর্নিশি চেয়ে আছি কালো শশী হব বলে চরণ-দাসী ।  ও তা হয় না কপাল-গুণে, আমার মনের মানুষের সনে (২)।	Chatak pray aaharnishi Cheye aache kaalo shashi, Hobo bole charan-dasi  O ta hoye na kapal-gune , Aamaar moner manusher sone (x2) .	All night and day waits the swallow, In the moon's darkening glow, For me to be at your feet, to follow. O! Alas, I wait for Destiny's role, To be at one, with my inner soul (x2).
মেঘের বিদ্যুৎ মেঘেই যেমন লুকালে না পাই অন্বেষণ, কালারে হারায়ে তেমন  ঐ রূপ হেরি এ দর্পণে  আমার মনের মানুষের সনে (২)।	Megher bidyut meghei jemon, Lukaile na pai anveshan, Kalare haraye temon , Ei roop heri darpane . Aamaar moner manusher sone (x2) .	As we search for the hidden lightning, In dark clouds' silver lining, So too, for my hidden self, I'm pining, Searching in the mirror to be whole, To be at one, with my inner soul (x2).
যখন ওই রূপ স্মরণ হয় থাকে না লোক লজ্জার‌ও ভয়। লালন ফকির ভেবে বলে সদাই  প্রেম করে যে সেই জানে মিলন হবে কত দিনে (২)	Jokhon oi roop smoron hoye Thake na lok lajjar bhoye, Lalon Fakir bhebe bole sadai , Prem kore je shei jane, Milon hobe koto dine (x2).	O when I see you in my mind's gaze, I overcome the fear of social mores, Lalon Fakir says, now and always, He who loves thus understands the whole, To be at one, with my inner soul (x2).
